Small Update #4.3


  • Added Rucksack - It’s a size 6 container
  • Can now hold down the inventory button to continuously read a book or eat a food item with charges. This can also be done by clicking and holding with the mouse.
  • Tomes of experience now take 90 turns to read instead of 16. Books are meant to act as a time sink, to give more value to food. Now that going through charges is not nearly as tedious, I feel I can do this.
  • Perks from experience tomes are now chosen from a dynamic list. Once a perk is chosen it is removed from the list and cannot be gotten again in that run. Most perks have duplicates in the list though, some are more common than others.
  • Bridges over water, and tunnels through mountain rocks in wild zones will now spawn whenever these obstacles are over 15 tiles wide, instead of only when covering the entire width of the zone. They will also prioritize spawning in the center in addition to spawning at the thinnest point of the obstacle, finding a balance between the two.
  • Item spawn rates in the suburbs have been reduced
  • Added a pharmacy building that spawns in the suburb. Holds 2 medical items, usually vitamins.
  • Teleportis and Screaming Urges now have a %2 chance to activate each turn, down from %3
  • Added some outlines to stats in the unit info UI
  • Fixed a bug where the save deletion from the main menu wasn’t working
  • Fixed a bug where alerted enemies would not save their alerted tile when reloading.
  • Fixed a bug where starting the ending cutscene with animations disabled would allow you to move during the cutscene.
  • Fixed a bug where saving a game and reloading in the same session would prevent interacting with the inventory via mouse until the game was paused and unpaused.
  • The game will no longer delay player actions when the camera is being rotated.
